Daisy, our VW Cabriolet Beetle
Daisy is a thoroughly modern VW Cabriolet Beetle in candy white with a very posh retractable black hood (a marvel to watch).
Bringing the “something new” tradition to weddings in the South, why not hire Daisy as your bridal car together with one of our classics for a great spectacle on your special Wedding day!
Daisy is able to go a bit further than our classic Beetles and can also operate throughout the white winter months.
Rose, a Splitscreen Campervan
Our 1967 VW splitscreen campervan is Rose, from the USA, who is painted pearl-ivory and light silvery grey, giving her the ideal wedding look. Her interior is classic raspberry and cream vinyl, with a rustic “buddy” seat, and vintage rose and burlap bunting and accessories. Being neutral colours externally, she will blend in with any colour and theme.
Rose is a little different from Sleepy Jean, being a “walkthrough” campervan, which means that passengers can walk through from front to back when parked up. She also has a detachable table which can be attached at the venue if required.
Rose seats up to 5 passengers and is available to hire any day of the week.
She can travel up to 25 miles from Waterlooville making her ideal for local barns, churches, abbeys, marquees and manor houses in Hampshire and West Sussex.
Bluebell, VW Beetle with Sunroof
Bluebell the Bug is a stunning classic hardtop 1969 VW Beetle with a sliding “ragtop” sunroof. She’s great for a romantic wedding, photo shoots, and old wedding traditions. Her pale blue pastel paintwork is “something old and something blue” and she comes fully dressed with cute props for vintage styled, traditional, and beach weddings.
Like Betty, Bluebell is very popular with brides wanting a cute but practical wedding car. She has plenty of room for the bride’s wedding dress and has transported many brides, bridesmaids, fathers, and grooms too. Even photographers love to hop in and have a ride!
Bluebell is available to hire with driver any day of the week.
Sleepy Jean, Splitscreen Campervan
This beautiful 1965 VW splitscreen “Sundial conversion” campervan, originally from Oregon USA, is pastel green and cream with a garden themed interior. Although she particularly loves daisies and sunflowers, she loves all flowers. Her safari style front windows open out for fantastic portrait photos. Other lovely features of this left hand drive splitscreen include a matching roof rack and pastel green moon hub wheels.
After a complete restoration in 2012, Sleepy Jean started a new life as a wedding bus and has also been used at Goodwood Revival as the information centre! She is very popular with wedding parties wanting to travel in a campervan with rustic appeal, and is perfect for barn, marquee and beach style weddings.
She seats up to 5 passengers and is available to hire any day of the week. She can travel up to 25 miles from Waterlooville making her ideal for local barns, churches, abbeys, marquees, manor houses etc. in parts of Hampshire and West Sussex.
Betty – VW Karmann Convertible Beetle
Betty the Bug started life in South Africa in 1972 and has undergone a partial restoration in 2015 to restore her to her former glory. Painted in old English white, she compliments the rest of the VW’s perfectly and can be styled in vintage, classic or funky ribbons as required. Her interior is based on the early 60’s monochrome style.
Betty’s black ‘hood’ opens up and folds neatly behind the rear seat, giving you fantastic photo opportunities and a lot of fun. We normally drive to venues with the hood up and lower it just around the corner for the ultimate entrance.
She is ideal for the Bride and Father, with the bridesmaids in Sleepy Jean or Rose (the Campervans), and Groom and Best Man in Bluebell the Beetle. She is also very popular with Brides and Grooms to travel on to their receptions.
Betty is available to hire with driver any day of the week.
